Running shoes make the outside of my feet hurt?
I just bought new running shoes this weekend, Saucony ProGrid Omni 7's. I went to a professional running store where they evaluated my approach and ensured shoes that fit properly and everything. Today I tried my new shoes on an indoor track for about 20 minutes, and discovered they are the outer edges of my feet hurt. Does this mean they do not fit properly or they just need to be broken in? The saleswoman at the store discovered that I overpronate slightly in my left foot, so these shoes are more stable than my old ones were – I am simply not used to a stiffer shoe? The expert advice purchases of running shoes would be very appreciated! The shop running has a return policy of 30 days, if necessary, I can go back and get a size or more different shoe.
If I were you, I go out and run a 5k and if your poorly foot then I would go back and get a different pair. I ran 3 marathons, and I tried all different kinds of shoes for my training and I found that asics and Spira (which is a relatively new brand) are the best shoes for running.
