How to get rid of that fat pad ?
I noticed that my fat pad is a bit …big. I’m not really out of shape either. I’m 6’1, about 190 lbs , 19 years old. I played football and that had to do a lot with me gaining weight from working out and lifting weights. The problem is that I have a sizable fat pad, maybe .75 inches out from my abdomen. Are there are any specific abdomen workouts that target that area? I’ve tried yahooing and googling but I’ve only been able to find information on the general lower abdomen area. I’ve been doing sit ups and angled sit ups for awhile now and they don’t really seem to affect that area, just my abs. Thanks in advance.
Upon accurate measurement with a ruler, make it more like a 1″ protrusion.
edit: Is alternative eating the only way to get rid of it? I’m a college student and it’s pretty hard for me to get a good meal, I just grab like a hot pocket or fast foods since my schedule is hectic.
The kind of fat you are talking about doesn’t get toned up by sit ups – it’s one that goes with diet and cardio only. So cut out all refined carbs from your diet and no white bread, white pasta. Swap with wholemeal versions and eat more fresh foods and less processed. Plenty of running and rowing machine is a great fat burner too. You will then get the results you are after.
