Escrima Sticks
Long escrima sticks same as jo staff~? Hanbo same as escrima sticks~?
I think alot of wooden weapons in different types of martial arts have the same weapon
Like:
Hanbo is that same as escrima sticks , right~?
BUT long escrima sticks are exactly like a bo staff
do both of those martial art use the same techniques~???
if they are not the same plz tell me the differences between them
Tanbo- 2 foot
Hanbo (Sanshaku-bo) – 3 foot
Yonshaku-bo (Jo, Tsue, Sutiku) – 4 foot
Goshakubo- 5 foot
Rokushaku-bo (Kon, Kun, Bo) – 6 foot
Hashaku bo – 8 foot
Kushaku bo- 9 foot
okinawan kobudo use the hanbo the same as or similar to escrima. japanese use the hanbo completely different in the way it is use.
i consider the tanbo closer to the escrima or at least the one i was taught.
