I bought some used dumbbells and you want to paint them gray. What should I use paint layers & #?
What you paint them with the material you depends painting. If they are metal then you will need what is known in the trade as product type TMD. If they are plastic covered, you will need a different type of product. The best would be to go to a paint shop and talk to a sales representative. I used an acrylic paint is PPG DTM, Room No. 90-374, the requirements very well to metal and plastic and if implemented correctly is very durable. I think it is a type coating industry.
