Chun Kung

Wing Chun-Chinese Boxing
Wing Chun was made known to many Westerners through its most famous pupil Jun Fan, name English: Bruce Lee. It was from the basic principles of this ancient Chinese martial art, a branch of Kung Fu is the little dragon shaped his own art Jeet After Kune Do.
The exact origin of Wing Chun, like most of his contemporaries, is unclear. In fact, even the source of the name itself is a subject litigation. This is because documentation was absent during most of his early years teacher and the student teaching was made orally. Another reason is its origin and inventor may have been covered up on purpose, as it has been developed in an era of fight against the Qing Dynasty rebellion movement of Shaolin. The words "Wing Chun" literally translates to "Spring Song" or "forever spring." Paradoxically, if two popular tales of its origin is correct, this aggressive, deadly martial art product from close range was named after a young girl in trouble, one that has developed.
Yim Wing-Chun, as one of the legends go, it was a beautiful young girl who was doing his best not to become engaged to a warlord who expressed interest in marrying. It has an agreement with the warrior side it would only give her hand if he has beaten in a match. Allegedly, Wing Chun sought help from a Buddhist nun to teach combat techniques and was able to beat her admirer with style, they came with. It therefore goes ahead and marries her true love to turn the martial art named in his honor.
The basic principles of Wing Chun are convenience, efficiency, and hit a target with the fewest possible moves. It's all about the fighter-axis do to preserve it and the same time, how to destroy the enemy.
Typical of Chinese martial arts, Wing Chun has many forms. Siu Nim Tao is the basic foundation for all other forms and techniques. Here the balance practitioner's body through the correct position and structure is developed. Chum Kiu The second form develops technical approach and attack short-range shots of elbows and knees are also developed in this form. Here recovery techniques to recover balance and focus are also used in the event of loss of Siu Nim Tao, the first form. The third form is a contingency plan to If the practitioner is injured and can not regain its axis. Composed Kicks range scanning, longer and punches, Biu Jee should be used only as a last use because it can spread deadly, fatal injuries. The fourth form of Wing Chun training is what artists know as Wing Chun martial for-the Mook Yan Jong using the wooden dummy. Not really as a man, his goal is to train the proper management of energy hunting and fishing blocks and strikes. The latter form, which comes after mastery of open hand techniques are weapons forms. In Wing Chun, The Deadly Twin Swords Butterfly, the long pole and sometimes throwing darts are the weapons used.
