HELP! Karate or Tae Kwon DO or other?

well im 13 years pounds 148 years and I do not know what will suit me better.i cannot kick really high and tae kwon do place is expensive, but they have a ton of experience. instructor has a gold medal at the Olympics and all instructors have more of a 5th degree black belt. another is a 6th degree black belt, is a personal trainer and knows Stix chi exercises. it doesn't get any better then that. I like karate a lot better though. the place has a karate sensei and tae kwon do up to 4 instructors. but he has much experience. also karate place is half the price of tae kwon do place. or are there other styles that I liked.

I'm training now in tae kwon do, but not in a branch system with an amazing instructor, however this does not mean I'm going to be biased in my review. You mentioned that the instructors have a 5th degree black belt and a gold medal at the Olympics. Also, Tae Kwon Do place is expensive. It seems that your TKD Dojang is visited more focused on competition and trophies over your well being. And let me tell you something about the belts. My instructor trained in tae kwon do traditional 22 years and is still a 3rd Dan. However, it is because of "politics" at play between him and the "Grand Master". Unfortunately, in these you are talking about a game of politics and today, the belt that is worn around your waist for martial arts has provided little sense of political masters money hunger. So please, avoid the TKD Dojang you've visited, all schools are like that. Although they seem to advertise more Experience … it's still a marketing tool. At the end you'll pay more than you need. You speak from a place of karate that you enjoy. Try it out (try it for free if they can) and if you do not like the way the teacher education and then go to other schools. Since you're 13, I'm assuming you want something more frenetic. If you just want to rush in and start making competition martial arts, kickboxing choose the American / / boxing wrestling / Brazilian Jujitsu … I give you props for taking one of the more traditional arts – It's really hard to find good teachers. Keep searching, you find your calling.
