Is it wise to practice fencing at lunchtime?
Some people run, some go to the gym. I want to go out and practice my bokken-do, the art of the wooden sword. There is a large field outside my office and I am out of sight in the grove of trees on the other end, so no one should see me do. But would this be considered strange?
I think it's an excellent idea. Who cares what you think. Just tell them it's an art form, and this whole exercise. No big deal. I like people taking the road less traveled and do things they really enjoy, not just what everyone thinks is "normal" .. Who decides what is "normal" anyway? Be yourself.
