Ata Karate
My mom told me not to go to Karate anymore. But I still want to go.?
I go to ATA. Recently I got good grades but my mom wants better. I want to keep on going to ATA and learn my forms, weapons, and sparring (fighting). Please I want to go, is there anything i could do like persuade my mom, do online karate ANYTHING

I’m sorry to hear that you must stop training.
But I’m glad to hear that you will stop training at an ATA McDojo.
The ATA has the worst reputation for being a McDojo. I have much information on the scams they pull every day. you are better off not training in any ATA school. I don;t normally bash other styles, organizations, or schools. But the ATA is really cheating people and brain washing them into thinking that they are learning realistic martial arts. Did you know that the Koreans in Korea do not recognize the ranks given by the ATA?
I hope that sometime in the future you will again be able to study the martial arts. But when that times comes, I hope you find a legitimate place to train. Any place that sells belt contracts, holds promotions often, has lots of color belts with striped belts between each color, and has recommended ranks (what the heck is that? No legitimate school does that, nor do they need to).
